This is an authentic vintage Tekke rug which originates from Afghanistan to Uzbekistan. The Turkmen nomads used to create geometric patterns with a rich red as a background which are the main characteristic of Turkmen rugs. Turkmen rugs are the most unique rugs that resembles a rich history of the tribal nomads that used to rule all over central Asia
